May 14th brings upon us the 3rd annual Fun Run for Charities. Fun Run for Charities is sponsored by Reach Out Rocky Mount and provides a means for non-profit organizations in the area to receive donations.. This is a fun event for everyone involved, there is a sanctioned 10k and 5k race, a 1 mile fun run, and a childrens' run.
Stony Creek was established in 1956 in Nash County, NC. We have been proudly serving the citizens of Rocky Mount and the surrounding areas for 56 Years and we look forward to many more.
We currently provide primary rescue services to citizens in the city of Rocky Mount on the Nash County side as well as a good portion of the Eastern side of Nash County. We provide back-up EMS services for Nash County at an Intermediate level. Stony Creek is also the counties primary underwater search and recovery dive team.
